Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 - First Sunday of Advent - service at 10 AM
Advent Candlelight Taize Services - Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM, Nov. 30-Dec. 21.
A half hour service of candlelight prayer in the tradition of the Taize community, each
Wednesday evening during Advent. All are invited to share in this beautiful and simple
service of meditative singing and prayerful silence.

Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 - Third Sunday of Advent - service at 10 AM
Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011- Long Night Service of Hope and Healing, at 7 PM
A quiet service of reflection and healing, offered for those seeking a worship experience with the
understanding that the promise and joy of Advent and Christmas comes to each of us in different ways.
Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011- Fourth Sunday of Advent - service at 10:00 AM
Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011 - Christmas Eve Services
Christmas Pageant Service at 4:00 PM
The children of Pilgrim Church proclaim the Good News of Christ's birth through reading, drama,
song and prayer.
Service of Lessons and Carols at 8 PM; special musical prelude starting at 7:30 PM.
Our Chancel Choir leads us in a traditional worship service of song and scripture, bringing life to the
Christmas story through wondrful music, carols and readings. We begin our worship with an
extended prelude at 7:30, which includes congregational singing of popular carols and music pieces
by the choir.
Candlelight Service at 10:30 PM
A contemplative service of prayer, music and communion. Members of GodSound lead the
congregation in song, ending in a candlelit recessional out into the night. Like all pilgrims on this
holy night, we hope to be strangely stirred. "Where shepherds lately knelt and kept the angels' word,
I come in half belief, a pilgrim strangely stirred: but there is room and welcome there for me..."
Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011 - Christmas Day - Carol/Hymn Sing service at 10:00 AM
Preschool and nursery care is provided for all services through December 18th; nursery care -only- is provided for the Christmas Pageant service on December 24th.
Regular Worship (Fall through Spring) - at 10 AM from Labor Day through the middle of June.
Nursery care is available at each service for children under 3;
Church School is held for Pre-k through 8th grades.
Fellowship Time is held in the church vestry following worship; light refreshments are served.
Summer Worship - at 9 AM from the end of June through the last Sunday before Labor Day.
Nursery care is available at each service for children under 3;
One Room Schoolhouse open to school children through grade 8 is available at each service.
Fellowship Time is held on the front lawn (weather permitting) following each service; light refreshments are served.
